PATRICK LAPORTE With over 25 years in the Travel industry, Mr. Laporte brings an in-depth business savvy to each and everyone of his clients. Mr. Laporte started in the industry in 1978 as a reservation agent in Paris at the time when pricing and ticketing were done manually. This allowed him to master the inside out of ticketing processes. He quickly became Agency Manager then Vice President of Silver Voyages, a Travel Agency located in Paris through 1993. He moved to Dallas, Texas in 1993 where he was hired as a Sales Director with Equitable Travel Inc, a promising travel agency based in Addison, TX. In the year 1999, he started his own independent business and is now President and C.E.O. of LP Travel, Inc. His extensive travel around the world, his multi-cultural background makes him unique in advising corporate clients on how to optimize their travel costs and budget. With a dual MBA in Finance and International Management, she first offered her business expertise to the Information Technology Industry and was hired by E.D.S. in 1994. Thoughout her 7 Years in the company, she worked on International Acquisitions and Joint-Ventures, managed the Applications Development and System Integrations lines of business for the company, and finally oversought the Strategy and Marketing/Public Relations for the Digital Supply Chain Management Consulting Practice worldwide. Mrs Laporte joined LP Travel Inc., in 2002 in serving individual clients with their leisure needs. She brings her international skills and global business values to LP Travel Inc., as Vice-President of Operations and focuses on expanding the company's niche markets to include cruises, leisure packages and private jet charters. |
